According to the Mayan calendar, 4^th July 1999 is a day in the Year of the Red Moon with Tone 6, which had begun on 26^th July 1998.

In my opinion, this year is symbolically depicted on the crop circle through 6 lunar crescents.

The number 6 symbolizes Tone 6 – the Tone of the actual year.

The lunar crescents represent the energy “Red Moon” – the major energy of the actual Red Moon Year.

The energy “Red Moon” has following qualities:
Purify, Flow, Universal water

The 6 lunar crescents are depicted so, that they really look like “streams of Universal water” ;-).
